PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) otherwise known as Polyester is quickly becoming a material of choice amongst plastic film processors due to its exceptional clarity and ease in processing. ln addition, polyester material is being used more and more as an environment-friendly alternative to traditional plastic materials.

APET combines excellent durability with glass-like clarity providing customers with a material that both performs well and is visually appealing. Known for maintaining its rigidity and flexibility even after forming, APET is becoming one of the fastest growing segments in the thermoforming industry.

PETG & PET GAG are polyester films with a glycol modification used in both thermoforming and printing industries. The glycol modification allows the material to be heat sealed to itself more efficiently than APET materials, In addition, the structural makeup of the material deters it from crystallization, meaning that the material will not whiten when healed or stressed.

LPlL has started production of different variants of PET Film/ Sheet from June 2010.
Following Grades are being manufactured with thickness ranging from 120 lo 1200 micron and maximum width of 30 inches (756 mm).


 Vacuum & Thermoforming Grade:

Our thermoforming grade is non-toxic and FDA approved for direct food contact and is an ideal material for applications requiring an attractive package with maximum product visibility. In addition, it offers outstanding barrier properties which protect the packaged product from external liquids or gases, while at the same time retaining the product’s flavors and aromas. These Films have excellent process ability, transparency and impact resistance, suitable for packaging of toys, gifts, cloths, cosmetics and food products.

Glitter / Sequins Grade:

Metallizable film which can be treated with a special metallic color printing and lamination is used for glitters, decorative ribbons, Christmas trees, wrapping papers, labels and tapes.


Fold-Moulding / Box Grade:

The film can be folded to make boxes without any crease/ stress whitening for packing boxes of stationery toys, tools and gills. Customized anti-static & ultraviolet rays resistant films are also being produced.
